Meeting a True American Hero
It was my honor to meet and spend time with Medal of Honor recipient Sammy Lee Davis. Sammy was born November 1, 1946 and is an American soldier who served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the nation's highest military medal for valor, the Medal of Honor.
Sammy brought down the house with his amazing harmonica skills. Sammy's mother bought him a harmonica and sent it to Vietnam to make her son "less boring". An amazing guy to know!
